Cancellations and Endorsements can be completed through the QUBIE account portal, You click the "View" button next to your listed policy to access the Policy Overview page. From this page you can cancel or endorse a policy. Below are details on when to endorse a policy.
Endorsements:
- Updating coverage amount
- Updating insured’s personal address or contact information
- Updating or changing MTG info
- Adding an additional insured

The effective date should not be prior to the date in which the policy was quoted.
Property type: This is pulled from the tax assessor. If no data is returned from the tax assessor then type is defaulted to "Single-Family Dwelling"
Construction type: Defaulted to “Frame"
Year built and Square footage: Data is pulled from tax assessor. If no data is returned from the tax accessor then year built has a default of 1900 and sqft. has a default of 1500.
Building value: calculated based on average replacement cost within the respective territory.
Loss of rents: calculated as 10% of the building value
Dwelling: Maximum $1,000,000
General Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence with a $2,000,000 maximum aggregate
Loss of Rents: $100,000
Ordinance or Law:
100% of the declared value with respect to 1.a.1
10% of the declared value with respect to 1.a.2

Water backup coverage of sewers and drains: $10,000

Coverage extensions allow for additional structures with the same address, that are within 100 feet of the property to be covered. Additional structures have a coverage limit of $250,000. The coverage limits need to be manually updated to account for additional structures when issuing a policy.
Cancellations should not be backdated beyond 30 days from the date of the cancellation request.

All transactions generate a Quote number in QUBIE.
This includes:
- New Business
- Endorsements
- Cancellations
When you search by any of the quote numbers, it will display all different records of the policy whether new or endorsement
Adding a Property Manager to the policy is strongly recommended. Entering the Property Manager's Information on the Property Management page does not add them to the policy.
To add the property manager to the policy you must select "Yes" to the question "Do you have an additional insured to add to the property?" and enter the property manager information.
